Seastrunk continues to impress at Oregon

Lache Seastrunk is impressing at Oregon first few practices. The nation’s leading rusher, LaMichael James, is back for Oregon in 2011, but he’s not the talk at Oregon’s first few practices of the spring. That honor goes to Lache Seastrunk.

John Holt wrote this on OregonLive.com about Seastrunk’s practice:

“Once again, running back Lache Seastrunk made noise with his feet. Showing the darting ability of Jacquizz Rodgers but with more size, Seastrunk wowed for the second straight day. He’s the rare running back who can not only stop on a dime but throw it into reverse without grinding any gears.”

Imagine how good Oregon’s offense can be this year. Quarterback Darron Thomas is back, along with James, Seastrunk, and Kenjon Barner in the backfield. Thomas is now wearing #5, his high school number.
