UCF Playing Texas Well Early
Central Florida hasn’t been given much of a chance all week against Texas. There was no reason to like the Knights against the nation’s #2 team, in Austin-especially with the Longhorns playing their best football of the season.
After one quarter the two teams are tied 0-0. George O’ Leary’s Knights are winning the field position battle and have taken advantage of Texas miscues (missed FG, fumbled fleaflicker). This all comes with the Knights playing without their starting QB and starting RB due to injuries. So far the rest of the offense has stepped up.
I doubt that an upset takes place, but who knows.
